Approved Programme under UGC's Targeted TPg Programmes Fellowships Scheme

計算金融及金融科技理學士課程內有兩個主修專業，它們是 (1) 計算金融及 (2)金融科技。學生也可以選擇涵蓋兩個主修專業的綜合課程。

To educate and equip students with the essential knowledge and capabilities to apply technological innovations to financial services; to nurture leadership and entrepreneurship for the next generation of financial talents in support of Hong Kong’s endeavor to grow to an international Fintech hub.

The BASc(FinTech) degree is designed to nurture financial technologists and entrepreneurs with essential knowledge in both finance and technology, so they can take leading roles in innovation and applications of financial technology.

An emerging interdisciplinary area with very high impact on the economy of every society, this programme combines computing, finance, and policies and regulations to give students a thorough grounding in FinTech.

In this interdisciplinary Professional Certificate program in FinTech, you will learn about the world of FinTech and the opportunities and challenges it is bringing around the world. The Professional Certificate program will give you the tools to understand the interaction of finance and technology across the financial system as well as insight into the major technologies involved and the emerging business models and players in the industry.

The BSc (Hons) in Financial Technology and Artificial Intelligence aims to cultivate financial technologists with the strength of developing intelligent software applications and innovative finance solutions. The programme equips students with good fundamental computing knowledge with a focus in AI, sound finance concepts, strong intellectual and practical skills to apply computing technologies in finance and related areas.

The MScFinTech program provides students with fundamental knowledge and skills relating to popular financial technologies and their engineering and financial principles, thereby enhancing students’ market competitiveness in the remarkably booming FinTech space. In view of the multi-disciplinary nature of FinTech, the program, jointly run by the School of Business and Management, School of Engineering, and School of Science, draws expertise from timely areas such as information technology, blockchain, decision analytics, etc..

The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Financial Technology covers major areas of (1) finance, (2) technology, (3) applied data science, and (4) economics, law and business. It equips students with the knowledge of big data analytics, computer languages (Python, C#, R, Java, etc.), blockchain, machine learning and AI in FinTech applications. It also offers internship opportunities to students. Graduates of the programme may pursue their careers in FinTech per se or in forms that employ FinTech solutions. Some may opt to work for information technology and big data companies, in regulatory compliance roles, or to launch their own start-up companies. The programme will also provide a solid foundation for further postgraduate study in the field.

The Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours in Financial Technology and Innovation is a 4-year programme. The programme is designed to provide students with quality education in theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to apply technological innovations to a changing business environment, especially financial services industry, so as to equip them to take up positions of responsibility, leadership and consultancy in financial services industry.

This project is to embed the Fintech quintessential elements into three existing finance related programmes offered by HSUHK, namely BBA (Hons) in Financial Analysis, BBA (Hons) in Finance & Banking, and BBA (Hons) in Economics, blending in the traditional finance/economic principle with advances in technology. The enhancement covers the management of FinTech, the use of artificial intelligence and selected applications of blockchain in the financial service industry. Also, an important element of regulatory and ethical expectations for financial professionals and the challenges facing the profession will also be included as basic building blocks. In addition, HSUHK will continue to strengthen the industry collaboration with financial institutions on the provision of internship opportunities which enable students to understand the development of the industry.

騰訊粵港澳大灣區金融科技人才培養計劃

「空檔年」全職實習計劃依學期提供全職實習職位，實習生會於金管局、銀行(包括虛擬銀行)或儲值支付工具營運商參與金融科技項目六個月至一年，期間並會接受監管和科技的培訓。

深圳暑期實習計劃由香港金融青年會主辦、金管局贊助。計劃為金融科技人才培育計劃(FCAS) 2.0四個項目的其中一環。FCAS 2.0旨在提升香港在培養金融科技人才方面的能力，以應付業界日益增加的需求，並培育處於不同職涯發展階段的年輕人才。
